Life Savings and Loan Protection Insurance
The new Zealand Firefighters Credit Union insures all members’ funds at no cost to the member.
In the event of the death of a member and on formal submission of an appropriate claim:
- All outstanding loan balances maybe repaid to a maximum of $20,000.00
- Credit balance in the members savings account maybe doubled to the maximum value of $5,000.00.
Maximum claim is $25,000.00
