Deposits made at the Bank

When you are making a deposit at the Bank it is very important that you ask the bank teller to push the right buttons to ensure your Credit Union membership number is captured and will appear on our bank statement.

We have a growing number of deposits which just appear on our statement without any or meaningless reference detail and it can take sometimes up to a week for the originating bank to be able to identify the depositor for us. This means your money is held in Suspense until we can correctly apply it. The bank charges us for that trace – and we may soon have to pass that charge on to you.

So, again – please help us with this one.

When faxing us or emailing us with requests for money to be transferred off to your Bank or Credit Card accounts – please, please ensure the account numbers are copied down correctly and written very clearly so we can read them.

If the numbers are wrong or so badly written that we can’t decipher them – it may delay us making that remittance for you.

Please help yourself by helping us!!

PS: Include a contact phone number in your message – just in case.

If you want a transfer made to your Accesscard or off to a Bank account you must have your request to us before 4pm daily for us to be able to effect the transaction that day.

Remember to get your weekend spending money organised early on Fridays – and don’t forget Public Holidays.
